There's no place like home for CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy], who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Ellington Knights on Saturday as they made off with a 50-27 victory. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 48-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ellington lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aaron Ladr, who rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 145 yards and a pair of TDs. Another player making a difference was Brett Powell, who rushed for 113 yards and one score.

CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy]'s win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Ellington, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] and Ellington will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups.
